I generally accept the form of doctrines being spoken of here but am not in total agreement. That alone is not an issue. The relationships in the homes however are.

There are so many misconceptions about the posititon of men as leaders in the home. Then maybe it is time for some teaching on that.

The mutual submission scripture in Ephesians for the most part is totally ignored to teach the high priest and leadership by men in the home.

The men have taken a dictatorship in difference to leadership and have caused the divorce rate in church to exceed the world’s.

One of the greatest reasons for women Pastor’s can be traced to men out of submission to the Lord and the need for a woman to take the leadership.

The rest of it must come from your individual thoughts of what the word has imprinted your spirit with.

I will echo something that Spirit Fox has said several times, that scripture can and will interpret itself. The Bible says it takes two witnesses to establish a truth and a very Foolish person stakes his direction from one witness of the Word. I generally won’t move without several confirmation’s of God’s Word

Hey look Spirit Fox if this is a discussion by the scripture and what you have written is true ,then there is anointing on that Word. The Word written and used from a subjective view point will evidence itself.

We have lost the definition for this thread, It appears more like the family discussions we used to have at my grandparents house.

The discussions appeared some what like these with one or two attempting to control all that was spoken. The last two pages of this thread have little to do with Pastors and resemble more a debate on interpretation.

I for one am not participating any further in this until all of you realize that all of you have a right to discuss the topic and not last nites dinner at home.

Sean my brother rather than assail you,for your opinion I congratulate you for expressing it, The Holy Spirit has indicated to me in many painful periods of correction that he does need to employ my help in this.

I will say this; case studies from counseling do not bear out your opinion entirely. Most of it is the non-doctrinal teaching of men’s Lordship in the home and trying to bring all into subjection and not submission to the head

Christ would not give to men authority that he does not take himself. Christ expects submission in all things. not the slavery of subjection. In this thing with women Pastors as SF has tried to say avoid tradition and personel interpratations and stay in the Word. Leadership,First from the Word where are women compeled or asked to love their husbands,traditionally from the vows they are ask to love,Honor, obey and submit not to be in subjection.

If the husband can learn the pronciples of the Song of Songs the wife will give her love out of choice. It never has to be commanded or taken.

After years of training of different animals and birds, I have found after the initial period of training the animal involved will attempt everything possible to please me.(submission) I control them by a learned order of hand controls and spoken vocabulary. Each of the dogs have over a 1500 word vocabulary because they choose to,(submission)

If an animal is capable of this how much more so are we.

Now I have no problem with the scripture process used here about the Pastoral issue. I have problems with the approach and delivery.

How did Jesus meet the needs of the those in sin he came in touch with, He healed,fed or delivered them and poured his Agape love upon them. The audiences became his by choice not coercement.

In many of these forums I see a lot of condemnation of people. Jesus said that I came not into the world to condemn it but that the world through the light in my life might be saved.

You want to deliver a messege to people, deliver the life in your life to them, free them spiritually or physically in whatever manor they need and then you have their hearts.

There is an old expression from the world put up or shut up;well let’s soften it a bit by saying,show it or shove off. demonstrate Jesus to the point that people can see him in you and there by give you entrance to teach them from what you have been given.

In this approach on the Pastors we are not concerned with the Word you have; believe it or not as much as we are a door to enter to deliver it.

If you have that fire to bring this then use the sensitivity the Spirit in getting it delivered.

1Corinthians chapter 14

Most theologians acknowledge this passage of scripture was limited by time constraint. Paul was addressing particular behavior problems that existed in that Corinthian Church.

Since it was addressing a problem particular to that time it really is not accepted as an instructional passage that passes time.

Some groups hold to it religiously and have ostracized women for disobeying it.

Let me add this also and I don’t know if it is related but those groups that hold scriptural Lordship and domination of the husband in the home have the highest divorce rate in the church as a whole.

You must really be careful in your interpratation of scripture. Do you allow the word you hold; to be dictated in meaning from tradition or do you truly open it to find what is hidden in it.

First off we need to be careful of making this a debate forum.

Secondly we need to keep this a healthy discussion because this has been an area of error among believers for a long time. I don’t believe there will come a great theological breakthrough in this but much understanding can come from it.

Another point was always whether God is female or male?

In dealing with God we can only discuss aspects of nature not gender. In saying that I ask you to remember the definition of

EL-SHADDAI.

Correct interpratation of scripture involves the following ;The audience a particular word is presented to and is there time constraints. For example most of the theologians I have studied believe Paul’s instructions to women In Corinthians on church behavior is constrained to the church at Corinth of that time. I give that as an example of what I meant. If that were not the case then there are churches I know of today that would assert that women must be muzzled in service.

Another example of what I mean; most groups that hold with this doctrine about the position of women in the church will send women as lead mission to fields of missions all over the world. Acertain group had a woman missionary of international acknowledgement in her field and had started churches and spoke in countries around the world. She however could not speak nor hold authority in any location in the states.

If we are going to hold to this doctrine on the position of women then do it even handily not as hypocrites

We all know where Spirit Fox stands in belief on this thought;but I personally believe she has a great potential as a teacher and the heart of Pastor or prophetical gifts. this is where the Spirit of God comes in by what is he speaking in heart personally.

This to me is where the core of truth abides in this and that is what are the giftings involved.

The last thing to bring out in this;is a question and it is what route do you take to get truth from the scripture you use?? Are you hearing truth in what’s said in those verses?? Is the interpratation method you use subjective to your

desires.?? Or is objective open to all the truth from Gd??

I have my own opinion in this and have yet to see anything that would bring me to the point of change,and I wouldn’t open that up here because these things in Praize become debate fodder to easily.

I encourage to search your hearts on this subject and participate in the Agape of God .There is a lot to learn in this thought of women as Pastors.

by definition Adam meant “red man” as someone suggested but that may have reflected the blood flow in his veins.

The only pertinent fact is his his Father;and that was God because race does not go back beyond creation.

I don’t understand the value here because Adam was heavenly by race because of the Father.

I have bred animals and have started a new breed but the breed is named in the Father becase that is the beginning point.
