AnonymousWe attend a church where all the “gifts” are active; tongues, interpretation, prophecy, healing, word of knowledge, etc. Far from being a place of confusion, the church is full of the Holy Spirit and love. Yes, these things can be mistreated, misconstrued and falsely used, but that is the exception and not the rule in the sevices we attend. We understand that many do not believe in the validity of these gifts, especially tongues after the early church. We ourselves were brought up in churches that did not exercise the gifts, so as adults, our desire for and understanding of them was a long time coming. We don’t criticize here, only pray that the Lord will help as many as possible come to full knowledge of the workings of His Holy Spirit.
