Speaking in Tongues…..

I believe someone gave the definitons of tongues being a gift that will allow you to speak with someone who doesn’t speak your language, that’s one type (known tongue) tongue. SPeaking in an unknown tongue simply is a conversation from you directly to God through the holy spirit. There are times when tongues are spoken loudly for all to hear, then someone with the gift of interpretation would interpret for all to understand. But if it’s between you & God, it should not be spoken for the whole church to hear. AS it states in Acts, they spake as the Spirit lead them. Make sure that it’s the Spirit of God, and not you pretending. Remember, without Love your tongues don’t mean a thing.
