When we go to heaven, we will be in our glorified bodies, therefore, out of our sinful nature. Once the nature is gone, the sin is gone. (Corinthians)The reason for this is because sin cannot enter heaven for God is holy (Isaiah).
We are all sinners by nature- we are born into sin (Acts- “For all have sinned and come short…”). That is why we need a Savior. Sin separates man from God. That is why he sent his son to die for our sins, to pay that sin debt. We have free will whether to choose to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, or reject him. If you have not chosen him, you have rejected him already. Not choosing is rejecting.
However, even though we are saved, we still sin. Being saved does not make us perfect, only forgiven. We are more sensnitve to sin the closer fellowship we have with God, therefore, our ‘account’ stays short. In our prayers we are to confess any known sin and repent of it (1 John) Failure to confess also comes between us and God.
But like I said, when we are saved, and die, the sin stays here, PTL!!!
