Let me state it simply, so as not to get myself into semantics problems. It seems to me to be difficult for theists to discuss atheistic ideas when their final answer is to be found within theism itself, that is, the bible.

There is no definitive source upon which we can agree, and the debate is its own point, is it not? An exercise in our difference of beliefs, and worthwhile in that we search for the meaning of ourselves.
