In discussing atheistic questions it is necessary to stay away from biblical references. If one cannot discuss using one’s own philosophy, one cannot truly find answers in any way that does not come from dogma. There is no point in debating the bible nor Paul, nor the history according to the bible or what religious leaders believe.
If psychology now studies the mind instead of the soul it is because science has decided that the mind, the psyche, the body is only physical. I yield to science over religion.
Demons do not exist, nor do they influence the working of humanity. Accept that and then we can talk about evil…even accept for this debate. What can you come up with now?
It is too easy to fall back on the supernatural to explain human actions, natural occurances, miracles and disasters. To do so leads to no debate whatsoever…pointless as you said.
