I recently LEFT the UMC. I couldn’t take the lack of adherance to their own discipline. I saw their courts as cowardly and I could not continue in the uncomfortable relationship.

That IS sad. Fortunately, for me, that whole mess didn’t touch our church in a very big way. Maybe it should bother me, but I’m afraid if I let it, I simply wouldn’t go to church anywhere…
