From what I understand, when then ancient hebrew people sacrificed the passover lamb(which is a foreshadow of Jesus who was the lamb of God), they were instructed to eat all the meat not to leave any leftovers. So the people gave up the lamb but received sustenance and life to their bodies. So was that really a sacrifice or a trade-off? When the Son of God gave up his Divine rights and became a man,he did so to buy back many sons for his Father. A pretty good trade-off, What?
