Home Forums Re: What is the Trinity?

So when Jesus was here on earth, do you believe he was 100% God? or was there nobody in heaven during that time.

the Lord didnt “give up” any of his deity, or priviledge, as the Son of inheritance(throne).

the following verses reveal that truth, and in many theological cirlcles, is referred to as the “kenosis”, or the voluntary non-use of his deity and priviledge in order to make the ultimate atonement, and allow men back into RIGHTeous fellowship with the Father:

Phl 2:5 For, let this mind be in you that [is] also in Christ Jesus,

Phl 2:6 who, being in the form of God, thought [it] not robbery to be equal to God,

Phl 2:7 but did empty himself, the form of a servant having taken, in the likeness of men having been made,

Phl 2:8 and in fashion having been found as a man, he humbled himself, having become obedient unto death — death even of a cross,

Phl 2:9 wherefore, also, God did highly exalt him, and gave to him a name that [is] above every name,

Phl 2:10 that in the name of Jesus every knee may bow — of heavenlies, and earthlies, and what are under the earth —

Phl 2:11 and every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father

there is no doubt that Jesus/YAHoshua could have called on any amount of help, at any time, as scripture says this also.

if the HOly Spirit of the Living God is present in the Son,

he didnt have to “look” up to heaven, to speak with the Father,

cause the Father was already there.

and He still is.
