“So, three separate individuals? How is that one God?”
They are not three separate individuals. The word ‘individual’ can only be applied to God in the sense that God cannot be divided, because God is indivisible. Each member of the Holy Trinity is of the same mind. They are not separate, neither are they ‘individuals’. They are each and all totally God and yet from our perspective each has clearly definable characteristics and modes of existence.
