lvnjames, I’m not exactly sure about my belief regarding the Sabbath. I am a relatively new Christian, and have not looked enough into worshipping the Sabbath. I have 3 questions regarding this,

1) However is there anyway to explain why Jesus didn’t say honour the Sabbath? He said thou shalt no kill, honour thy mother and father, etc…

2) Was the Sabbath a sign between the people of Israel and God? or a sign between the people of Israel and the gentiles and God?

3) LvnJames or anyone who follows the Sabbath, what does this scripture mean to you? Colossians 2:16

“16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:”

If I am taking it out of context then I am sorry.

I am not saying Sabbath worship is wrong, because I have not looked enough into it. Maybe if those who believe it is right can explain my questions I can better understand why it is believed to be good. Please answer my questions if possible,

you are doin fine GREGW—and those who do worship on the sabbath—are fine also, because they are convicted in heart to do so.

their mistake is “beleiving” and insinuating “parts” of the Mosaic and levitical laws are followed, but not the others.

Lu 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

this doesnt mean— A NEW WAY—is ‘CREATED’ in Jesus.

this means that no longer are the ceremonies need to be kept, because the “real presence” of the “shadows” has arrived.

Yes, the SPECIFIC ceremonial command to obey the sabbath was for NATION ISRAEL ONLY—the ecclesia/edah.

deuteronomy 5 clearly says so…

De 5:1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.

so,—which “israel”?

the one WHO WAS RELEASED FROM PHAROAH—gentiles werent slaves in egypt.

De 5:6 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

again—the specifics on the 4th command….

De 5:12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

De 5:13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:

De 5:14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

De 5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

there is no doubt—the 7th day sabbath—was a ceremonial FEAST that Israel has to keep—even to this day if they are not saved.

(and its ok if still do after bein saved)

Rabbinical Judaism—even declares the Sabbath is for ISRAELITES/JEWS only.

they have SPECIAL guidelines for GENTILES who become rabbinical jews.

they are called the Noahide LAWS, and the SABBATH is NOT—one of them.

The Jewish idea is that the Torah of Moses is a truth for all humanity, whether Jewish or not. The Torah (as explained in the Talmud – Sanhedrin 58b) presents seven mitzvot for non-Jews to observe. These seven laws are the pillars of human civilization, and are named the “Seven Laws of Noah,” since all humans are descended from Noah. They are:

1) Do not murder.

2) Do not steal.

3) Do not worship false gods.

4) Do not be sexually immoral.

5) Do not eat the limb of an animal before it is killed.

6) Do not curse God.

7) Set up courts and bring offenders to justice

the SABBATH, today is a MUCH needed study—for one to show themselves approved.

SDA cultists, rabbinical jews—and eventually ISLAM—will dictate to the world WHAT day to worship.

yes, the BEAST is….

“IN THE NAME OF ALLAH”.
