What book are you quoting here?
I dont want to throw away or disreguard all of what your quoting, but lets face it, if what passages in whatever your quoting agree with the bible, it is truth, and what passages dont, throw away.. reguardless who wrote it.. ok? Let the bible itself be your measuring stick… and anyone with the Holy Spirit, who are His can interpret it for themselves, with God’s help.
now, having said that, lets find stuff in the bible on the topic.. and stick to that..
First of all, having once been a catholic, now a protestant, I will say that you should not feel as though you have to do a “pennance” or “spiritual chores- such as so many hail-marys, so many prayers, or so many good works” to be forgiven. Jesus is the price paid for all your sins.. if you’ll believe that, and trust in Him for that… reguardless of your works.. good or bad.
 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe..
 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
 Which all are to perish with the using after the commandments and doctrines of men?
 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
secondly, you do not need to go to a priest to get your sins forgiven.. You can go directly to God and ask for forgiveness.
 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
you see, your going to heaven is not dependant on what church you belong to, it depends on a new creation, based on your faith in a sacrifice Jesus paid once and for all for all mankind (including you).
2 Cor 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature
I hope this helps
