I went to the site you gave the URL for. I would not call that a “study”. Far from it. It is error dressed up with a compilation of Hebrew and Greek words along with Strong numbers to make it seem legitimate. He is not taking meaning from the Bible, he is forcing his ideas into the Bible. If you go to the home page, there is even more error with a sprinkling of hate and poison.
Why do I say this? Let me give you just one example. The author is trying to say Eve had sexual relations with Satan. To do this he goes to 2 Cor.11: 3. Regarding ‘beguiled’ he states, “*2 beguiled = Greek word #1818 “exapatao” (ex-ap-at-ah’-o); To seduce wholly. This was a sexual act. There can be no misunderstanding as to the meaning of what the serpent did to Eve, as there is only one meaning of the word ‘expatao’ in the Greek language.” Is this true? Does ‘exapatao’ have only one meaning, a sexual one? No, that is entirely false.
The word ‘exapatao’ is used 5 times in the NT, 4 times it is translated “deceived”, 1 time, “beguiled”. Robertson, Vine, and others say the word means “completely deceive”. That word is used in 2 Thess. 2:3, “Let no man deceive you…” Paul is giving the same warning to Timothy that we each need. Satan will try to deceive us about many truths in the Bible.
Peter’s warning in 2 Peter 2 is appropriate in regards to this site. The internet is a great resource for truth, but it is also a place filled with deception. Satan is indeed walking about as a roaring lione seeking to destroy. The WWW is one place he frequents.
