Home Forums Re: Salvation: Conditional or Unconditional

I’d like to point you to a passage that does demonstrate the clear possibility of a Christian walking away from the truth of the gospel to the peril of death. As a matter of fact, there are many clear passages that demonstrate final apostasy. The bible reveals that the conditions of repentance, faith and obedience are necessary to salvation, and the failure to continue in this vein can result in the forfeiture of eternal life. Please exegete the following passage for me.

Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins. (James 5:19-20)
