Wheter you’re talking about religion as an instution or a loosely spiritual sense of religion or just the concept of a God with no strings attached, whether Hinduism or Islam or Christianity, or just love for Jesus as a messiah, you’re talking about religion. All of these fit under my definition of religion, so whichever position you take you need to understand that I’m addressing you. I’ve listed three fallacies that arguments for religion are typically based upon and given examples of the type of thoughts that endorse those fallacies. None of the examples or the principles they’re based on make religion true. What I want to hear is something to refute my claim that religion is based upon this type of thinking or arguments for religion that can stand on their own merit without resorting to flawed thinking.
