Wow. This sounds like something that only God himself can really lead you on. I don’t know your whole situation so I can’t tell you exactly what to do. But what I can tell you is that if you really feel that the only way to make yourselves happy is for both of you to go back home and go to school, then you have to do it. Distance is a true test of a relationship. I go to college in Indiana and my boyfriend is in the milatary and will be stationed in Utah starting next month. We’ve already been doing this long distance thing for a year. We decided that no matter how hard it is we need to stick it out and live apart until I graduate. It’s hard, no doubt, but if it gets you to a better place in life it’ll be worth it.
But also have you ever considered compromise? You two can go to the same school together, maybe at one of your homes or even where you are now. Think about those options before you decide on the harder one. But most importantly, pray about it. God knows what He wants for the two of you. He knows if you’re supposed to be together or not and whatever He desires will be done. So just trust that no matter what, God will take care of both of you.
I hope I was of some help. God Bless!
