If you do not mind, allow me to cut straight to the core issue here. You often refer to conversion, or a process of conversion, or somehow evolving your thinking in a more Catholic way. I understand that personal convictions are a sensitive thing, and I do not want to insult you, but tell me if you will: what is holding you back? I read your post concerning the Church not being the Whore of Babylon. Obviously you have great love, or at least respect for the Holy and Catholic Faith. It is evident from many of your posts that you have even accepted some doctrines which are Catholic (and Orthodox) distinctives. So then, I am interested in knowing what it is that prevents you from crossing the Tiber, so to speak. Is it doctrinal, philosophical, emotional? Just curious.
