Re: I cant understand….

One thing I have been reading aboutare the decrees of God and providence. I know we don’t understand all that goes on and while this may just sound like a cute answer it is not.God in His providence allows these things to happen for purposes that we may or may not understand. But He is aware of all things that take place. Remember what Jesus said about a sparrow falling to the ground.All I can say is God allows them for a purpose. And i cannot give you the purpose. I have some ideas but they probably wouldn’t sound to good. One example is Pharoah why was pharoah pharoah at the time when the children of Israel were to be set free. For God’s purposes

Rom 9:17 For the Scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might show my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

What I am saying is God is not the author of evil but He allows evil.and for reasons that we may not understand His righteousness and justice and mercy and glory and love etc will somehow be manifested because of it.

In the sense of His judgement look at Rom 1

Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

What I am saying is He allows people to commit evil in some cases that they may do as the next verse describes

Rom 2:5 But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

God allows some to commit evil that they may store up wrath unto themselves.

But what of those that are innocent and abused.

Again all I can say is God knows the exact amount of strands of hair we have. It’s for His purpose.

Even the fall of man was allowed for the purposes of God to be manifested.

The thing for us is to remember God knows all and is in control of all. Satan can do nothing unless God allows it
