It is always wise to remember this:
Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
55:9 For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”.
What we think of ‘perfection’ may not be what God thinks of perfection.
Too often, we tend to place human terms, to God’s words.
If God says we are, to be perfect….we should realize that God,, in His power can…make us so, once we surrender, totally, to His will.
The Bible points out a people who are (and will be) perfect:
Revelation 14:4 “These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were [redeemed] from among men, [being] the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God”.
Verse 12……”Here is the patience of the saints…here are they that keep the commandments of God, and have the faith of Jesus”.
To keep all the commandments of God means, to not commit sin !
The same faith, Jesus had….to allow God, to work out His will, in their daily lives.
