Hi, I’m new at this but here goes. I’m originally from Pennsylvania and now live in Texas after joining the military and being stationed here. After a year of being in Texas I met a girl and we’ve been together for a year now. We have both just recently separated from the military and went into the reserves here in Texas. We have also moved in together. But the last few months haven’t’ been going so well. The struggle with getting jobs and paying bills is really taking a toll. It’s been really tough trying to stay afloat financially. I have completed one year of college before I entered the military and I really would like to go back. I have often thought of how beneficial it would be for us to separate so we could go back to our homes to focus on college. The problem with that is that my home is in Pennsylvania and her home is New Mexico. So if we were to separate, there will be huge distance between us. We love each other but sometimes the bad days of arguments out weight the good days. We have talked about the options but are not sure what to do. I feel like I might regret going our separate ways. I just don’t know what to do.
