Dear Shekinah,

You are in my prayers. Sometimes we endure heartache from relationships which builds us up in the Lord and makes us stronger. I think in this case God is protecting you. I know that you may have heard this already, but you are young, and perhaps it is not God’s will for you to marry yet, and especially not to marry someone whom you do not know in person. Illness can be hard, and sometimes it seems that so much happens at once, that it feels overwhelming. I understand that, and want you to know that God is working for the good in ALL things. Right now, even in all your suffering, you must trust in Him that he is working for the best outcome, and His love for you is abundant.

“Therefore, let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful creator in doing what is right.” (1 Peter 4:19)

Shekinah, read 1 Peter 5:6-10 … it is helpful for those whom are suffering.

I understand from my own experiences, how painful things like this can be. I myself recently endured a break up with my Fiancee due to my illness, and am enduring very difficult times with my family also. If you need someone to talk to who can encourage you in the Lord, you may e-mail me at anytime. Coincidentally, I am also in Ontario.

Keep strong even through these rough times, as God never leaves you, nor abandons you, and is there with you right now and always working good things even out of our times of sadness. This is his promise to us:

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

“Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will recieve the crown of life that God has promised to all those who love him.” (James 1:12)

You are in my prayers.

Your sister in Christ,

Andraya
