Okay, I actually happen to know the answer to this one. The reason why you don’t have to be a Christian to join is kinda like why you don’t need to be a Christian to go to church. It is a great outreach to those who are athletes and may have the question about their faith or whatnot, and it may put them at ease to be around some like minded people. The reason why you don’t have to be an athlete (my schools FCA president last year couldn’t play a sport to save their life) is because it may get you interested. Just like I’m in FFEA (Florida Future Educators of America) and a lot of people don’t know if they want to be a teacher, but at the same time, it is a great oppurtunity.
