Yes, most of what you say is true. I have a hard time imagining the amazing probabilities involved with evolution. I also have a troubling time wrapping my head arround the time scale of evolution. Life has begun about,billions of years ago? Can one conceive of that amount of time?
Instead of trying to comprehend that, you, and many others, simply write it off as an impossible theory. You are ignoring a huge amount of data. There are organisms that exist today which live in harsh conditions: deep open volcanic vents, thriving on intense heat and sulfur, for example.
The philosophy of Evolution is tough to comprehend but the science is there for those who wish to learn. Sure Creationism is warm and fuzzy and easy to understand, but sometimes the truth involves a little more.
