I don’t see how you can believe in evolution if you are a Christian. God’s word clearly says he made man in His image. God didn’t say He evolved man from an amoeba or a monkey.

[Gen 1:26] Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

[Gen 1:27] So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

[Gen 1:28] Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

I guess God gave us a choice. If you want to think that you evolved from a monkey then you have that right.

As for me I will trust and believe what God tells me. I was created in His image.

Don’t make a monkey out of God, He probably doesn’t like it much.

If this post was directed at me, please reread my original post. I did not state any belief in evolution, simply that God is the creator of all things, and that if evolution were true, He would be the creator of this also. For the record, I obviously do not believe that humans evolved from apes, but the theory of evolution entails much more than that. Survival of the fittest, for example, could possibly be the work of God. Let me emphasise that I am only wondering, not stating any belief.

God bless
