“Thus we must still keep A Sabbath, a day of rejuvenation and worship or devotion but any day will do.”
Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God.
Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
Through Christ, we ‘enter’ into a sabbath rest where we (every day) ‘rest’ from our ‘works’, and rely on the completed work of Jesus Christ who ‘completed’ it all for us. Therefore, to us who are ‘resting’ in Christ’s completed work of Salvation, EVERY day is a sabbath.
It makes good sense to do as Jesus did and withdraw for rest, and a recharging, but if we don’t it isn’t sin, we’ll just burn out sooner than otherwise. (sort of like never changing the oil on our car; we won’t get the same mileage out of it, but it’s still our car)
Other than that minor difference, Eric, I agree with you. Preach it!!!!!!
