Your wrong the KJV is translated out of the Recieved Text “Textus Receptus” the NKJV is NOT a modern version of the KJV, the NKJV as most all modern translation including 1901 ASV

are translated out of the courpt Alexandrian Text or the Westcott-Hort Text. You are right in one thing these modren translations maybe a little more grammaticly correct but the underlying text in which they come from are corrupt.
