Dillon Adoption Agency Adoption Grants Dillon International offers 2 funds to help families, who qualify for financial assistance, with their adoption and to help children with special needs to find a permanent family. These funds were established by several Dillon adoptive families who wanted to share their joy in adoption with other families who might not have the financial resources to realize their dream of building a family, and to help children who might not otherwise be adopted because of their special need. *The grants are only available to adoptive families who decide to work with Dillon International.*Lisa's Fund- Is used only for adoptions from China. Grants vary according to an individual family's need. Building Families Fund-This can be used to help families and/or children from our other partner countries. Average grant is $2,000. but may be less or more depending upon an individual family's need. They will set up and monitor all accounts, and forward appropriate tax receipts to donors. This will enable you to have financial assistance with your adoption, and at the same time, your donors can have a tax deduction. HIS KIDS TOO will notify you, the recipient of on going contributions to your Adoption Bank account, and 2 weeks prior to your travel, will send you the funds collected.
HOLT'S Special Needs Adoption Fund (SNAF) Holt's Special Needs Adoption Fund http://www.holtintl.org/waitingchild/waitingchildfinances.shtml This fund assists families adopting through the HOLT Agency who need additional financial support in order to adopt a waiting child. They consider requests for this assistance on a case-by-case basis at time of assignment. After being matched with a special needs child, families may request assistance from the SNAF program director.

JSW Adoption Foundation The JSW Foundation is a non-profit foundation funded by donations and fundraising events. JSW is established to assist potential adoptive parents by providing cash grants to subsidize a portion of the costs of adoption. Grants of $2,000. or more awarded on a monthly basis. Preference given to childless couples with an income under $35,000. Applications must be received by the last day of the month in order to be considered for that month. All applicants will be notified in writing within 30 days from the last day of the month in which they applied. Any parent or parents wishing to adopt a child can apply for a JSW Adoption Foundation grant. Grants are review and awarded on the following criteria: 1. Agency approval- Applicants must be qualified to adopt a child in the state in which they reside. This approval must be documented by the Agency they are working with. Grant vouchers may be awarded to the applicant contingent on pending approval. 2. Financial need- Only applicants who demonstrate financial need will be considered. 3. Childless Applicants- Although applicants who have children will not automatically be excluded, those who have no children will be given preference. 4. Hardship- Preference will be given to those applicants who are experiencing extraordinary hardship. Average grant amount is $3,000, but can go as high as $5,000. The grant program is open to all legal adoptions including public or private agency adoptions, international, special needs or adoptions facilitated by an attorney. There is no income requirement.
