Wisdom Hunter by Randall Arthur

This is a very great fictional novel. I highly recommend it. It gives you very good insight and wisdom about God, actually strengthening my relationship with the Lord. Starting off, the pastor in the story finds out that his daughter- whom he has not seen in over 4 years since she ran away- has just died a week earlier in child birth. About a month later the pastor's wife dies of depression. The pastor leaves in search of his granddaugter and son-in-law, but has no luck until the very end. Some very sad events take place in this book, but they have actually helped me along in my life. The pastor actually loses faith in God early on in the book (he lives in the States by the way), but in the end, after finding his granddaughter, he becomes a pastor in Norway. On a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 8.9. Very, very good.

Reading is very good for everyone. I started this book club so people have a chance to read, are encouraged to read, books about other people's lives that have been changed by God. My life has completely changed since I asked God into my heart- for the better! These books have carefully been chosen by a group of people who agree that these novels may help you in your walk with God. Thank you very much for taking a part in my Reading Section.
