I'm interested in becoming a MOD, what's next? Here, the door is open for people to be involved in ministry. However, there are certain requirements and guidelines that all must comply to in order to become a MOD on Praize.
Getting Started
This ministry, like every ministry, is held in the highest regards. We believe that in order to maintain a successful ministry there will be training, monthly meetings, and certain expectations of service. For example, one requirement that we have is that you must be active on the site for at least three months prior to applying.
Requirements
Must be a born-again Christian, able to freely discuss with other team members the activities and/or awareness of God and Jesus in their life.
Must demonstrate a personal relationship with God.
Be forgiving, not judgmental.
Must at all time show a Christ-like spirit. Be courteous.
Have an understanding that both saved and unsaved persons may not see things as you do. Allow for their differences.
Be able to give and receive constructive criticism.
Support and be loyal to Praize at all times.
Support, be loyal to, encourage and pray for the other MODs at all times.
Additional Information
All applicants must go through a "probation period" to see how they will work with the rest of Praize Team. We do realize that even though this is a Christian site, not everyone is a Christian. We do, however, believe that those who are on this team should be dedicated Christians. We know that even though our Christian lives differ from church to church, we must remind ourselves that our priority is to support Praize members, rather than being spiritual counselors. We are willing servants who can pray for our brothers and sisters, but should always seek to refer them back to their home-church spiritual leader and Jesus Christ.
