Praize is currently looking for volunteers to participate in its Moderator Ministry. A Moderator (or "MOD") is someone who keeps watch over a specific area on Praize.
What is a Moderator/MOD?
Much like how Shepherds protect and guide their flocks, a MOD shepherds a preferred area. These servants moderate active community areas where our visitors and members dialogue. These areas include online forums and chat rooms. There are many topics covered in the forums and chat rooms, from Apologetics to Web Masters and everything in between. MODs choose which area they wish to serve in. We wish for MODs to be able to serve in areas of interest for them.
What does a MOD do?
Both shepherds and MODs care for and love their flocks by providing direction and protection. When a sheep goes off track a shepherd is there to lead the sheep back onto green pastures. Also, when a predator approaches the flock a shepherd or MOD is always aware and able to deal with the situation quickly and efficiently. Simply put, a MOD is in charge of a forum. Firstly, MODs are there to facilitate and guide forums by initiating motivating conversation. Secondly, a MOD is there to remove improper postings from the postings.
