 Reverend Todd F. Knock Just to give you a little background about who I am...
My name is Todd Knock. I am a child of God, a husband and a father of seven wonderful children. I have loved the Lord as long as I can remember. At the age of 25 I felt a distinct calling into the gospel ministry. After completing my Bachelor's Degree in Communications, I then spent a few years with my wonderful wife and children, learning how to be a good husband and father. God then paved the way for me to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where I earned my Masters of Divinity. I have served in the local church as an ordained Pastor ever since.  In the last couple of years God has been working on my heart to begin a ministry that would bring our local churches to a point where they more accurately reflect the diversity in our society. America has come a long way with the issues of racism but for some reason, most of our churches have remained segregated. I feel God has called me to help the local church breakdown the religious, denominational and racial barriers which hinders the cause of Christ.
It is time for America to realize that it is not the place of our governments to eliminate prejudice within our society, rather it is the Churches responsibility to bring true unity - a unity that respects and celebrates diversity. The local church, the bride of Christ; we, His people have been called to this task and we must act on this responsibility.
I sincerely believe that it breaks the heart of God to see so many churches throughout this country segregated ethnically and/or economically from one another and it is my heart's desire to help the local church find ways to achieve true unity. |
