Getting Started What is the Praize Toolbar? Praize Toolbar is a free, Christian toolbar that allows you to use your favorite Praize features anywhere on the Web. With a free Praize ID, the Praize Toolbar toolbar gives you easy access to your personalized information on Praize, including your email, clubs, forums and bookmarks. To use Praize Toolbar, you need: Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer (version 4 or greater) Download Praize Toolbar now How do I create a Praize Account? Use this link to register for your free Praize ID. If you already have a Praize ID, you can access My Praize and recieve Email Notifications anywhere on the web. Remember that you will need to be logged in to access such services. Toolbar Help What do I do if it will not download? If you don't get a software installation pop up screen when you click on Download A. Please Choose Option B If you don't see the download confirmation screen (see image above) Try Download B if option A will not work. I can't see the Praize Toolbar on my browser, what should I do? You need to download the Praize Toolbar. Go to Download Area Go to View ---> Toolbars ----> Praize on Internet Explorer. Try exiting Internet Explorer then start it up again. Reboot your computer! If all else fails please try download A or B. Why is there a "new mail" image flashing on my toolbar? When you receive an alert from Praize, the Alert icon will appear on your toolbar. Currently, Praize Toolbar alerts you when.. You receive new Email - When there are important News Announcements - Important: If you would always like to be notified when you have new mail at Praize please do not log out. The system will will automatically check for new mail as long as you don't log out. Will Praize Toolbar play a sound when I get new email? Currently, Praize Toolbar does not play a sound when you receive email. However, Praize Toolbar does notify you when you have new Praize Mail by displaying the button. This button will appear on your toolbar when you have new Praize Mail. How do I Turn off the Toolbar? To turn off the Praize Toolbar, you can click the "Hide Toolbar" link on the "Main Logo" or click "View" then "Toolbars" and select "Praize" from the drop-down menu. When you want to turn the Toolbar on again do the same thing. You can also move the toolbar so that it doesn't use as much space: Look for the thin vertical bar directly to the left of the "main Logo" button. Click and drag this bar with your mouse to move the toolbar around the top of Internet Explorer. How do I delete the toolbar? To delete the Praize toolbar, click the "Praize Logo" button and select "Remove Toolbar" from the drop-down menu. It is also possible to hide or move the toolbar on your browser. See image above. Troubleshooting Why are some of the links not working on the toolbar? You probably have an older version of the toolbar, click the "main logo" then click Update Toolbar to get the latest version. It is good to get into the habit of clicking the "Update Toolbar" link atleast once a month. If you still encounter links that are not working please contact us so we can look into it further. Please Note: Some of the channels that are not operational at this time but coming very soon. \o/ Kids \o/ Entertianment Why is the mail notification saying I have mail when I don't have any? When you receive an alert from praize!, the flashing icon will appear on your toolbar until you get your email. The flashing alert should go away in 2-5 minutes. Why can't I start my Praize Messenger from the toolbar? By default the toolbar will look for the Messenger in C:/Program Files/praize. You have the messenger in a different location. Delete the messenger and install it in Program Files if you wish to use this feature. Please Note: You will not loose any information. All your settings are stored on our servers.
