I would like each of us member to be in prayer daily for Praize.com.

Many of you you might remember me as PraizeOP11 durring my time as a PraizeOP for Praize.com and I have now decided to come back to Praize.com as Media4God as I run my own ministry Media4God Ministries ( http://www.media4god.org ). The reason that I am asking folks to be in prayer for Praize.com is that I know that is is the will of PraizeOP and PraizeOP2 to see Praize.com be a site that connects others with other Christians. I also feel that they want each of us to try and reach out to new Christians and help them in there daily walk.

I hope that each of us will take time to lift up the the Ownership of Praize.com, and the Tech Team. Folks becuase I do much of the same things the tech team for Praize.com does as a Media Minister I know what goes on and sometimes the stress that goes with running a site like Praize.com

Again lets all be in prayer daily for Praize.com

God Bless,

I'm sorry that no one picked up on this question. I am not a Bible scholar, but there are many here who could hold that title.
Just a guess on my part (and maybe will get some to comment) is that it may have depended on the circumstances of where Jesus was and to whom He was talking. We know that He had his reasons, we can only suppose at what they might have been.

I am so grateful to God for all He has done for all of us here at Praize. He is an awesome God and Father. Nevertheless, I would like to ask all Praize members to pray for all of us here and also our tech company, Gossamer-Threads. This was the time for the site to change, God's time. And there are still many situations to be worked out. Believe me when I say that the G-T techs are working diligently as are PraizeOP and I. We need strength, wisdom, and peace. Pray for the members to be patient as we finish up this phase one and move to phases 2 and 3. And pray for one another. Thank you all for your prayers and for your love.

THE BIBLE FACT OR FICTION

Millions upon millions of people base their belief, religion, tradition, existence, and even their own life’s according to their Bibles, but are the writings of ancient Holy Scripture based on fact, myths, hard core evidence, and the real truth.

As I continued to read, it soon became very evident to me that the Bible was nothing but mere cliff notes of a much larger story. Take for example, the Memoirs of our Presidents who either served four or eight year terms. These books contained more information on these Presidents’ terms than the entire Bible contained on the combined total number of years of all prophets, saints, and even the Messiah. I knew more about the lives of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan than I did Adam, Noah, Moses, and Jesus Christ.

Who really wrote the Bible? How many Bibles are there? And which is the true Bible?

Before I go on further it is very important that I stop here and tell you what I have learned:

•	History is not always the real truth

•	History is written by the victor

•	History is sometimes based on the sayings or writings of people of prominence

•	History is sometimes written by others

•	History is sometimes based on hearsay

Please let me know your thoughts

Hey Chris...
What's up?

I know you replied to dovegiven, but I had to respond to some of your points if you don't mind...

You're right, except the Lord calls, the unbeliever cannot respond and when the Lord does call only those who respond in repentance are chosen. Mt22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

As far as some people not knowing; Rom 1:18-23KJV 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them . 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen , being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse : 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful ; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened . 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools , 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Also see; Rom 2:13-16 which, I see, dovegiven has already listed.

Jesus said, the Kingdom of God is within, being found with the Holy Spirit who indwells the faithful. Beyond the local congregation with its overseer and deacons, there is no other hierarchy found in the NT scriptures. So organized denominations are built by man. That being said, men of God who can pray the prayer of faith and walk in obedience to the Spirit make a difference wherever they are, even within the hierarchy of the various denominations.

Let me add here in regards to our choosing the Lord that the Lord wants us to want him. Suppose, one of us took a needle of sodium pentothal and went to the one we wanted and injected that person and said, "you love me." Nothing... You then add, "Say; I love you." "I love you," responds the person drugged. What kind of love is that? But if one introduces him or herself, taking a chance at being rejected and that person says, "I love you because I want to love you." The difference is that forced love is not love... Its the same for the Lord who made us in his image. Even when we're in New Jerusalem, there will be a forbidden fruit that as long as we abstain from it, we will be choosing the Lord. I hesitate to mention what that fruit is, but it is the blaspheming of the Holy Spirit which will not be forgiven in this life nor in the life to come.{Mt12:31,32)

Yes, Jesus did die once, for all and in another place we're told: (2Pet3:9)KJV The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But sadly, not all men have faith(2Thes3:2)KJV or come to the Lord in repentance. For example; the Lord's law is an infinite law and when a finite being breaks that law an infinite amount of atonement is required. Since we are finite, we cannot suffer infinitely, so we are tormented for infinity. Jesus himself being infinite was able to suffer infinitely and pay the debt in full for all who would call upon him in faith. In fact, Jesus suffered more than all the souls in the lake of fire will ever suffer combined.

I know how difficult it is to long for the growth of our ministry. But I also know that this is simply a trying or our faith. Your Word says that You WILL complete the work You have begun in us, and I believe it. All Your promises are Yes and AMEN! I love You, Lord, and I thank You that You ALWAYS hear and answer my prayer and that You will also answer this one. May You be blessed today, Father. In Jesus' Name, amen.

How can you guys call yourself true Chrisitans and sit here on your computer all day and Mormon bash?? Was that in the bible, to start a freaking web page and bash others beliefs?? There are how many churches out there with different beliefs, its all the SAME STORY just told in different words and given different rules. It honestly dsisgusts me that you can sit here and talk about PEOPLE that way. Oh and by the way did you know that there are the true mormons and the SEPERATIST MORMONS???? bet u didnt, it was the seperatist mormons who wanted more than one wife and beleived jesus did too and all that other junk you were saying, they left the mormon church to start there own "version" so they could have multiple wives and everything. We all started as one church there was only one church, then beliefs changed and stories got "chinese whispered" into something the same but slighlty different. Jesus doesnt judge differences, and you being his followers should do the same. You believe in speaking in tongues, mormons dont, mormons beleive in the 3 heavens, you dont. Notice how you have crazy little things you beleive in just like mormons? EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENCES EVEN YOU LOOK PAST THEM STOP BEING IDIOTIC AND POSTING ALL THIS CRAP RELIGION IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A WAR BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT GROUPS RELIGION IS ABOUT PEACE, AND LOVE AND GOD AND GODLINESS NOT BASHING OF THE OTHER RELGIIONS, MAYBE INSTYEAD OF SPENDING YOUR TIME WRITING HURTFULL THREADS ABOUT OTHERS BELIEFS YOU SHOULD GO AND READ THE BIBLE AND BETTER YOURSELF

Mormonism....

Nearly 30 years ago when I became a Christian, I felt drawn to speak with the missionaries wondering our neighborhoods. Usually had interesting conversations, but whenever it came down to the validity of the bible, they would remind me the bible was correct only "in so far as it is translated"....

Well, probably 10 years ago my wife and I were looking at manufactured homes. The gentleman helping us was pleasant enough. I started speaking about religion to see where he was. He seemed Christian. We spoke about Christ, God, sin, etc.

Something was off though. I was finally able to get it out of him. He was Mormon.

This wasn't right, as he sounded more Christian than Mormon. Their church has been in a process of transition. It is good to see you all here are not being fooled, but they do sound more and more like another "mainstream" Christian church each time we talk. Their fundamental beliefs haven't changed, but they are being taught a new presentation.

The other thing, when they say the bible is correct, "in so far as it is translated....", I ask them if they have a list of the errors. Needless to say, with all their money and research capabilities, they do not ever give over a list of God's scriptures, which are not correct. They don't have it. They accuse without substance.

When speaking to them, the best work, which can be done, I think is to be the witness God has made you. Share your testimony, how your life has change, and the feelings you have in your heart are based on the change, which took place after you became a Christian.

The profit Jeremiah talks briefly about the heart. In chapter 17, verse 9 he says; "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?".

There are a number of scriptures referring to the heart and inferring it should not be trusted, our feelings. This is one of the missionary’s tools though. They ask if you "feel" that burning inside you? Then proceed to tell you it is the Holy Spirit convicting you of their truth, when it is actually anger burning against them for trying to deceive us, and doing a great job of it.

We just need to love them, like all the rest of the lost. They need to be rejoined with God through Jesus as much as anyone of us needed to be when we were lost.

Don't fight with them. Love them. Or, let God love them through you.

Take care, GB

Steve

2Corintians 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if hisministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose endshall be according to their works.

Every living thing needs water tosurvive. It must be found occasionally to replace what is given off bydehydration. Most water is good to drink but almost all water has other thingsin it. Most of those things cannot be seen and are harmless. (Some are evenhelpful. Good bacteria, minerals and protein just to name a few.)

Some things that are in water andare harmless are gravel, algae, salt and other food chemicals. The things thatcan be found in water in small quantities go through the digestive tract andare expelled. Occasionally these quantities can be found in larger doses andcan make us mildly sick; giving us headaches, sick stomachs, fevers ordiarrhoea. Alcohol and spirited drinks fall into this area. It is water mixedwith alcohol or other poisons that give us that high feeling. We are poisonedto the point that our senses are dulled and our body has a reaction to thepoison and throws up. Our reason is gone and we cannot think correctly. Dangerno longer frightens us and we no longer feel pain. We also stop caring for thethings that worry us which, to some, is a relief.

Then there are the things in water that we cansee and will stop us from drinking it. Muddy water or any coloured water is tobe avoided along with bad smelling water. Water that smells bad might not bebad for us but we think it is and avoid it. If we do not know what ishidden in the water it is best not to drink it.

We often think that other thingscould be in the water if there is dirt or impurities in it. We avoid stream, river and lake water because it is exposed to the air, which we think ispolluted. We know that treated water has chemicals in it to kill most of theharmful things in it but the chemicals could also hurt us.

We have come to trust well water thebest because it has been filtered down through the soil; which is a very goodfiltering system. Now we are finding out that chemicals, fertilizers, animalwaste and many other impurities can follow water through the earth andcontaminate it. Our bodies filtering system is still usually strong enough tohandle most of these impurities.

We have come to the point wherealmost all water has impurities in it and some are getting to the point ofreally harming us. There is also the fact that we have combinations ofimpurities that, separately, might go harmlessly through our bodies but, together, might be lethal.

We have developed many grades offilters and processes to purify our water so that it will nourish our bodiesand keep them in health but which one works best all the time. Satan and hisservants look like a clear healthy glass of water; good looking and goodsounding. Only God’s word can filter out everything harmful in their actionsand words.

Proverbs 30:5 Everyword of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put theirtrust in him.

Stumble to Repentance or to Death

Stumbling to repentance or to death
Even while under the OT Law, King David was able to obtain forgiveness after he repented of his adultery with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband to cover it up. We also have the example of the brother in 1 Cor 5; who was to be shunned by the church, though they were not to regard him as an unbeliever, while he was living in a sin that wasn't even named among the gentiles of that day. Later, in 2 Cor 2, we see the church there was instructed to welcome him back into fellowship after he repented. The examples above show us that our faith in Jesus can overcome even the most heinous of ongoing sins. 2 Pet 3:9 kjv "For the Lord is not slack as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to us ward, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance."

We see that King David and the brother in 1 Cor 5 were both strong in faith and able to maintain their faith in the Lord Jesus, even while they were stumbling in un-repentance. Those that remain babes in Christ by neglecting the scriptures which lead to spiritual growth, remain weak in faith, sadly. See, 1 Pet 2:2 kjv "As newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby." And, 2 Pet 1:3,4 kjv "According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

Like the mustard seed and the fruits of the Spirit, faith is to grow within each of us. We can see this in 2 Thes 1:3 kjv "We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth." For those who are not strong in their faith, we can see another result: First, are the single believers that are unable to control themselves because, "it is better to marry than to burn." The threat of burning can only be directed at those who do not have faith. Btw, this passage shows us that there is no "one and only" or "soul mate" meant for us, other than the Lord himself! For those who are weak in faith and who stumble into sin, the guilt that they feel may lead to a falling away in regards to their faith and then they too will burn. The difference between stumbling and falling away is that when we stumble, we get back up to continue our walk. Second, we see in Rom 14:15 kjv "But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died." There is no threat of destruction for those who remain steadfast in their faith unto the end. To continue, Rom 14:23 kjv "And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin." Here we can see here that we can be damned if we eat in doubt, even though all foods are made pure by the word of God and by the prayer of faith, but because the one who esteems it to be unclean, then for that person, it is unclean. And in 1 Cor 8:7-13 we see that the brother who is weak may be emboldened to eat meat sacrificed to an idol, if he sees another believer with the knowledge that all foods are clean and that there is no god save the Lord, eat the sacrificed meat and then he may become embolden to also eat, but his conscience being weak is defiled as per 1 Cor 8:7 and then in verse 11 we see that the weak brother may perish because of another believer's knowledge. The perishing mentioned here has to refer to a loss of faith and therefore salvation.

In Eph 2:8,9 kjv "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works least any man should boast." And in 1 Jn 5:4 kjv "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." So salvation is by faith and not by works. For those whose guilt or the sorrow of the world takes them from the Lord in their own minds and who neglect the scriptures and who then either let their faith wither and die or who give themselves to another belief, will become reprobate without hope in the world, though they probably will not even realize it. We can see this in Rom 1:28 kjv "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things that are not convenient."

Some other verses regarding the loosing of one's faith: 1 Tim 4:1,2 kjv "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their consciences seared with a hot iron." And in Heb 3:12 kjv "Take heed, brethren, least there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God." And again in Heb 6:4-6 kjv "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy spirit, and have tasted the good word of God, and the power of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to a open shame." And once more in 2 Pet 2:20,21 kjv "For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they had known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them." And finally, here is an amazing promise for those who sin not unto death in 1 Jn 5:16,17 kjv "If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and He shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death."

In Eph 2:8,9 we see that salvation is not by works, but James tells us in James 2:17 that faith without works is dead. How can both of these verses be correct? The answer to that question is found in 1 Jn 3:19-23 kjv "And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then we have confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe upon the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment." Obedience to the above holy commandment is the works that James is speaking about that will prove one's faith and it is the faith that is mentioned in Eph 2:8,9. This same commandment is what Peter is referring to in 2 Pet 2:20,21 which can be seen in the paragraph above this one.

Now to the unforgivable sin, which like the tree of knowledge of good and evil was to Adam and Eve; in that as long as we abstain from it, we will be choosing the Lord. This is seen in Mt 12:32 kjv, where Jesus said, "And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him, but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come." The world to come can only be referring to the new Heaven and the new Earth mentioned in Rev 21:1.

When we're out of fellowship with the Lord and neglect the scriptures, the Holy Spirit becomes grieved and the anointing that we have obtained through obedience, ebbs. The Lord stops writing his commandments upon the table of our hearts and minds and seems to get further and further away. The heart is increasingly hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and grows more and more insensitive to the Lord's still small voice. Until the flame of faith goes out. Another promise from God's word for those who are in this situation is found in James 5:19,20 kjv "Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins."

Woah ! He introduced his new sermon series, simple called “Wild,” by bringing live animals with him on stage a lamb and a lion. According to him and the officials at his church, these animals served as sermon illustrations that were at once evocative and honorable. That was so very unique kind of sermon that I’ve heard.

As what is written on Psalms 33:12a, Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. It's really true, I've heard Rodney Howard Browne elaborated this more. Of course we all know lots of people do not preach or do not know God as the Lord, those people were really on trouble, they could not be blessed and they need more sermons, that's why there were preachers. But then it's still on the people if they want to believe God or not. The word of the Lord is right. we should be happy were blessed because our nation believes on him. God is great!

I’m all churched out, hurt and abused.
This us a statement in the song, “Take Me to the King” by Tamela Mann.
It makes me wonder about the reasons that people go to church or don't. Let's discuss this. What do you expect from your "church"? I certainly don't expect to be hurt and abused! But if I am, is that their fault or mine? Can I grow from this experience? I look forward to your input on this.
