'And Abram went up out of Egypt, he and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the South. And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. And he went on his journeys from the South even unto Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai, Upon the altar which he made there at first: and there Abram called on the name of the Lord." Gen 13:1-4.



"Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which was in Hebron, and he built an altar there to the Lord." Gen 13:18.



"And, behold I AM with thee (Abram), and will know thee in all the places whither thou goes, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of." Gen 28:15.

Cursed be he that lies with his father's wife, because he uncovers his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lies with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lies with his sister, the daughter of his father, or, the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that smites his neighbor, secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that confirms not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen." Deut 27:14-26.



"Up sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus says the Lord thy God of Israel, There is an accursed thing amidst of thee, O Israel: thou cannot take away the accursed thing from among you." Josh 7:13.



"And the children of Dan set up a graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Manasseh, he and his sons were the priests to the tribe of Dan until the captivity of the land. And they set up Micah's graven image, which he made, all the time the house of God was in Shiloh." Judges 18:30-32.



"They feared the Lord and served their own gods after the manner of the nations whom they carried away hence." 2 Kings 17:33.
