He knew how to drive truck is a short story published as an E-book on Amazon. To all my fans who enjoy my writing, I hope you like this story. God bless.

Here is the synopsis posted with the book;

The snow and icy road conditions often found in the RockyMountains can be hazardous at the best of times but when a transport truck,loaded school bus and a late snow plow meet on one of the worst hills; God help them.

And an exert from the story line;

The sight in front of him froze his hands and made his blood run cold. A school bus was facing him in his lane withits high beams shining right at him.
He pumped his brakes before the truth dawned on him; he was on solid ice and couldn’t get stopped.

Thru The Storm ~

I did not know His love before, the way I know it now;
I could not see my need for Him, my pride would not allow.
I had it all, without a care, the "self-sufficient" lie;
... My path was smooth, my sea was still, not a cloud was in my sky.

I thought I knew His love for me, I thought I'd seen His grace;
I thought I did not need to grow, I thought I'd found my place.
But then the way grew rough and dark, the storm clouds quickly rolled;
The waves began to rock my ship, my anchor would not hold.

The ship that I had built myself was made of foolish pride;
It fell apart and left me bare, with nowhere else to hide.
I had no strength or faith to face the trials that lay ahead;
And so I simply prayed to Him and bowed my weary head.

His loving arms enveloped me, and then He helped me stand;
He said, "You still must face this storm, but I will hold your hand."
So through the dark and lonely night He guided me through pain;
I could not see the light of day or when the storm might wane.

Yet through the aches and endless tears, my faith began to grow;
I could not see it at the time, but my light began to glow.
I saw God's love in brand new light, His grace and mercy, too;
For only when all self was gone, could Jesus' love shine through.

It was not easy in the storm, I sometimes wondered, "Why?"
At times I thought, "I can't go on." I'd hurt, and doubt, and cry.
But Jesus never left my side, He guided me each day;
Through pain and strife, through fire and flood, He helped me all the way.

And now I see as never before how great His love can be;
How in my weakness He is strong, how Jesus cares for me!
He worked it all out for my good, although the way was rough;
He only sent what I could bear, and then He cried, "Enough!"

He raised His hand and said, "Be still!" He made the storm clouds cease;
He opened up the gates of joy and flooded me with peace.
I saw His face now clearer still, I felt His presence strong;
I found anew His faithfulness, He never steered me wrong.

Now I know more storms will come, but only for my good;
For pain and tears have helped me grow as naught else ever could.
I still have so much more to learn as Jesus works in me;
If in the storm I'll love Him more, that's where I want to be!

I am the author of a Christian teaching blog and I have published my first 200 posts in a book published by Word Alive Press. I am posting the posts for volume two here in 'blogs'. they can be identified by the numbers in the beginnings of the titles.
These are topical teachings explaining what God meant and how He thinks about various topics. They are done in blog form to make them short and simple for all readers and they can be read in about 15 minutes each. (Much like a devotional or daily reading publications)
My books can be found at most Christian book stores, ordered from any Chapters store or from most online retailers.
I also write western novels with a Christian slant. 'Talking Fire Hand' and 'Stone Cold Joe' are also available online and 'Stone Cold Joe' is also published by Word Alive Press and is in Christian book stores as well as Chapters.
'Stone Cold Joe' has a music CD inserted under the cover and was produced by New Brunswick Music Hall of Fame singer, Dwane Drost. (He produced the first song for the book and named it after the book; 'Stone Cold Joe')

THIS ROCK MAGAZINE

http://www.catholic.com/m[...]ock.asp

This Rock magazine began publication in 1990 and quickly established itself as the definitive magazine of Catholic apologetics and evangelization.

Its mission continues to be the one for which it was created: to explain and defend the tenets of the Catholic faith and present practical ways to spread God’s truth. It does so using unfailingly orthodox defenses of the Church’s beliefs and always in a spirit of charity. Through This Rock, Catholic Answers cleaves to Peter’s exhortation to apologists: “Always be prepared to make a defense to any one who calls you to account for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and reverence” (1 Pet. 3:15).

In an age of secularism, disbelief, and internal dissent, Catholic apologetics has become a beacon casting light on the Church’s truths. One need only turn to this web site and others on the Internet to see the growing interest in, and the necessity for, defending the faith.

This country needs thousands more well educated, active Catholics to spread and defend the faith. This Rock is a key means of training them for those critically important missions.

The 48-page magazine is published six times a year. In addition to its paid subscribers, about 2,500 copies of each issue are sent free to all bishops in the United States, to seminarians, to foreign missionaries, and to Catholics in prison.

This Rock’s pages include the writing of such leading Catholic thinkers as Fr. Brian Harrison, Helen Hull Hitchcock, Fr. Mitch Pacwa, Scott Hahn, K. D. Whitehead, Mark Shea, Alice von Hildebrand, and, of course, Catholic Answers’ Director of Apologetics and Evangelization, Jimmy Akin, and its president and founder, Karl Keating.

WHAT OUR READERS ARE SAYING

*“This is the best magazine that I have ever subscribed to.”

*“We thoroughly enjoy and value This Rock. We like the meat of it.”

*“You have an excellent magazine that keeps improving.”

*“I’ve been subscribing since the old newsletter days, and it’s always gotten better and better.”

*“I consider it a great tool for spiritual growth.”

*“What a tremendous blessing! You have come into our lives just in time to defend our faith. We are growing from your great work!”

*“Your periodical is the only one I receive. Period. The only reason I am still Catholic is because of This Rock.”

*“I try to share it with all the people I know. You are changing lives for the better—to the glory of God!”

Hello everyone.

I have long been interested and followed the debate on the topic of "evolution". I recently read a fabulous, easy-to-read book which goes through a whole lot of solid scientific data in showing why the "theory" fails. It is called The Hoax Called Evolution, written by a Jonathan Conleigh. I think it is only available at a website called evolutionhoax.com.

The Best Day Of My Life!

Today, when I awoke,

I suddenly realized that this is the best day of my life, ever.

There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today;

but I did!

And because I did I'm going to celebrate!

Today, I'm going to celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far: the accomplishments, the many blessings, and, yes, even the hardships because they have served to make me stronger.

I will go through this day with my head held high and a happy heart.

I will marvel at God's seemingly simple gifts:

the morning dew,

the sun,

the clouds,

the trees,

the flowers,

the birds.

Today, none of these miraculous creations will escape my notice.

Today, I will share my excitement for life with other people.

I'll make someone smile.

I'll go out of my way to perform an unexpected act of kindness

for someone I don't even know.

Today, I'll give a sincere compliment to someone who seems down.

I'll tell a child how special he is,

and I'll tell someone I love just how deeply I care for them

and how much they mean to me.

Today is the day I quit worrying about what I don't have and start being grateful for all the wonderful things God has already given me.

I'll remember that to worry is just a waste of time because

my faith in God and his Divine Plan ensures everything will be just fine.

And tonight, before I go to bed,

I'll go outside and raise my eyes to the heavens.

I will stand in awe at the beauty of the stars and the moon,

and I will praise God for these magnificent treasures.

As the day ends and I lay my head down on my pillow,

I will thank the Almighty for the best day of my life.

And I will sleep the sleep of a contented child,

excited with expectation because I know!

tomorrow is going to be the best day of my life, ever!
