Hey everyone!
Please pray that Jesus will heal my husband's sciatic nerve in his back.
And pray for me.. I feel so helpless, I wish I could do more or anything to stop it.
So please pray that it is healed forever!

Thank you Jesus that the same day you died on the cross for our sins was the same 24 hours that you suffered the stripes on your back for our healing. Let the same faith to believe for salvation and eternal life well up in him to believe and receive his healing for his back, because surely you have borne our sickness and carried our dis-ease. Send your Word to him through the saints and the angels you have given charge over him. Let him confess with his mouth and believe in his heart that by your stripes he is healed.
John 5:14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Lord, just as when you healed the centurion's servant from a distance, I pray that your anointing power goes out now sending your healing virtue to course through this man's body restoring him to health and renewing his youth like the eagle's. In your wonderful name Amen

please continue to excise faith in God, your husband shall be healed in Jesus name. i pray right now upon him that henceforth he will start to do what he has not been doing before.

In 1974 I was working for an insurance co. and in order to help a customer I lifted an air conditioner from her car to take it inside her backroom. The unit was quite heavy;more than several hundred pounds. When I went to place it on the ground I pinched the sciatic nerve in my back. After months of physical therapy and narcotics for pain,surgery was decided to be my only recourse because the nerve was pinched between two spinal discs. In the process of the surgery the disc was released and then the nerve was severed,producing almost a case of total paralysis on my right side.
Almost one year later in what could be said to be a service of almost a supernatural occasion I was healed but discovered the length of time could have been years earlier if i just come one on one to the Lord and submitted to him for his way. It was the first time i had experienced the Lord in such a physical way .
This my prayer for you that you yield completely to him,and let him have his way in your life. I think the Lord wants to use you in your life just as your are and he will acomplish a testimony for him.
So be it Lord!!

Father, I thank you for the healing virtue that became ours when Jesus took the stripes on His precious back. I ask now, Father, that this man be touched and be made whole, in Jesus' Name, amen.

I suffered from sciatica to the point of having injections and having to use a TNS machine that blocks the pain electrically. Much prayer had gone out and I was believing for healing. I now know the Lord led me to several things that dealt with the cause. Having a pot belly hanging over my belt was distorting my lower back. It took God to make me consider that, then change some habits. One was diet, also necessary to bring diabetes II under control without medication. Another was to walk a lot more regularly. I walked miles a day on the job for many years, then sat down upon retiring. Now I apply moist heat, then do stretches, then walk the neighborhood.

Probably the most important change was getting my tongue under control. I had begun to complain too much about my pains rather than use the tongue to command benefits of my covenant with Jesus. I found a great book that helped me get on track, Charles Capps's "The Tongue, A Creative Force." I already knew James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
But Bro Capps (charlescapps.com) showed me the many other facts about my words, adding that knowledge to the prayers of faith with obedience.
