God answered my prayer

God answered my prayer
I just want to take a moment and thank God for answereing one of my many prayers. I am dealing with some heavy financial debt brought on by helping some family but mostly by my bad decisions and not being a good steward over what God had given me. Anyway, I had this bill due on 9/10 and I had no idea were I would get the money from. I had no one I could turn to and I worried over it the night before. I have been so stressed over my bills and what to do that I have been seeking God for almost a year but don't seem like I have been getting an answer-I felt as if God was ignoring me. My feelings would go from depression, anger, fear back to hope, faith and courage and this cycle would go on for months. I felt as if life wasn't worth living if I had to endure this pressure and it just seemed like it was no way out. I felt as if Satan had me and that's just the way it was going to be. I couldn't go to my siblings because they are the type that might help you but they would make you feel so bad for your situation that you'd just rather handle it on your own. I have been reading my Bible and praying and watching some sermons of my favorite ministers on tv. I do have my own home church but haven't been in a few months though. I had starting feeling like God didn't want anything to do with me so what's the use in praying. Sometimes when you feel like you can't get a prayer through all sorts of things run through your mind. Well, I decided to keep praying and that Friday I fasted for 1/2 the day. I had liquids but no food and I read bible verses when I had a break at work. Towards the end of the day my manager comes up to me and my co-worker and hands us some money. When I asked her what it was for she said it was the money that our job gave us for a contest. We had a contest on the job about getting customers signed up for something but the higher ups said the money would be used for a party for our branch and not to be given to the employees. We were not to see any money but God worked it out were the amount she gave us was what I needed for my bill. It wasn't under but just what I needed-praise God! God truly is a way maker when it seems like there is no other way. You see I went in with the attitude that I would pray and fast but really didn't expect anything because I had convinced myself that God didn't like me and this was my punishement for creating this debt. I still have tons of debt but I thank God for providing a way for me to pay my bill. God truly is the Great I AM and He is Yahweh.

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO and Hallelujah! All glory to Him! I wish more people would put Praize reports in here!

God is always faithful! It is we who doubt in Him. Help us, Jesus, to KNOW who You are and to always believe Your Word!

God bless.

I'm so happy to hear The Lord of the breakthrough came forth..you are not alone in this battle..many are going through the same obstacles. I too had a break through this week. I donated some Christian material not thinking about how it would benefit me. But a new job opportunity opened up for us. Thank you for your testimony...it is a faith builder.

Praise God and Hallelujah! Jesus never leaves us or forsakes us! Well, now, next time you won't have to sweat it out so much----you'll just know that all you have to do is believe and thank him and he will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:19) Amen.

I don't know how many of you know but my wife has been diagnosed with breast cancer and gone through cancer surgery.

Because of this I have experienced periods of self pity and dread at the thought of losing her because the lump placed the cancer as a class 3 because of it's size alone..

That period of fear is now over because I have come to realize that this fear is a condition of believing the worst is coming when Jesus has already completed the work. In dealing with the doctors they are committed to telling you the worst without leaving room for hope.

There is one thing about hope ;it is the seed of faith, the place of looking forward. Lot's wife lost her hope because she gave into selfish desires and looked back at what was lost and did not look forward to what was coming and what is behind can never compare to the place that the Lord is taking us to.

I have read the thoughts of many in here who are on the brink of break through if you can just cause that hope in Jesus to grow a little larger and blossom into faith. I look many times at the first two words in a scripture in Hebrews and try to put all that the Lord was saying through the Holy Spirit in Paul into my life. Those two words are "FAITH IS",Faith is what ?

I have come to realise having faith alone is not the strongest place of believing. The point of expecting God to move in your situation according to his word is the ground to be on. The element of faith for Paul brought him to the place of recieving all that is in the balance of that first verse. When my earthly father came to the point saying to me or my brother Iam going to do something we possessed what had been asked for right then. In these few years after going through these times with him and going over this again and again faith has gone from just believing to knowing what God is doing in us.

The other day I sat in my wife's doctor's office and looked at a man right next to me, he come in with his wife and she appeared to be ready for death any moment. She, I learned had the same stage of cancer that my wife had been said to have and yet there was no hope in them. I talked to him for just a few moments and learned exactly where he was mentally. He was already mentally preparing for her death the funeral and what he would do after this.

When i talked to him I gave him just the hope of Hebrews 11:1 and his reply "OOH IF I COULD JUST KNOW THAT" It's amazing what happens if you can just stop looking at yourself.

I know exactly what you are going through..all the emotions that rise up when we hear the report...and I too learned that faith in faith does not work. I had a season where all I had was hope...then a season where all I had was faith because I lost hope..and a season where all I could speak about was the love of God...But only when faith, hope and love are operating together again will I see the final out come of my journey. If we had not gone through so much we wouldn't have anything to share from first hand knowledge...

My heart goes out to your wife..she may be the one who is standing in faith, while you are in hope. But both of you are in the love of God together...amen!

I just want to thank you for sharing were you and your wife are at in your life. Sometimes I do get so wrapped up in my problems that I forget other people are going through things too. Your faith and hope in God is such an encouragement to me and I stand in prayer with you and your wife that all will be well with you all. We know God is a healer and there is nothing impossible with God so continue to hold on to God. May God bless the both of you.

m7th, how many times have we seen Abba move in your life and mine? I have come to the place where if He don't do it, it ain't gonna get done! lol But I KNOW in my "knower" that He WILL do it. It is in His Word. I have so many "obstacles" in front of me right now that I have a choice... I can laugh or cry. I choose to laugh, cuz I KNOW that Abba has my life in His hand and that I am the apple of His eye! Nothing shall whatsoever harm me. Not even a "whatsoever" can come against me with any strength unless I turn my eyes from the One Who gave His Life so that I might live. Goodness! I'm talking myself happy! Join me in rejoicing for ALL He has done, is doing, and is going to do for us!
