Our church is having a lock-in coming up next month and i was wondering if anyone had any idea's for it.... my dad is the pastor and he is in charge of all the activities and he comes up with alot of really fun idea's .,...... like last year we had a Naplolean Dynamyte ( i really don't think i spelled that right)dance off ...... but we have like an hour or two were we just play video games and i'm not really big on them so i would appreciater anyone's idea's ....

Well, just so that you know where I stand on this, you should try and have a lot of activities that acknowledge Jesus Christ. having a church lock0in does nothing to a person's faith if Jesus is not involved.



Have an American Idol like competition with Gospel Music

Play teamwork games (like the ones you might play at camp) and add a storyline with them that has something to do with the Word.

Have everyone get together and build a cross (not actual size). Then, dig a hole and put the cross in it. Decorate it, whatever.

Watch a movie or listen to music and dance like crazy!

thanks for the idea's .... when it comes to lock-in don't have much to do with Jesus .... i think u might be wrong about that.... my dad takes prob. about half and hour and preaches.... a youth centered message ..... but the free time is like at 30 am. but i'll have to see about the America idol like thing ..... i would appreciate anymore ideas.....
