How do you feel about vow renewals? My husband and I were talking about doing it, but I was curious as to whether other people would say no. We had to rush to get married, not because I was pregnant or anything, but he was getting ready to move out of state for college, and we suddenly decided to get married before hand, instead of waiting until the following summer. I didn't get to plan the wedding, because my family completely took over and did everything. So, ever since then we kind of made this pact that we would have a renewal and do it how we wanted to. Plus with the rush, we had like a 2 day honeymoon, so we'd really like to take a second honeymoon. We don't have kids yet, so it would be easy for us to do if we did it sometime in the next year or so. What do you think?

Personally, I think it is an awesome idea. It's always a great time to have a family gathering and what more fun than to celebrate your lives and renewed committment together, especially when you didn't feel you had as much of a hand in planning the festivities due to shipping out. Want ideas??? Feel free to holler

well, I was kind of leaning toward the elopement to the Carribean and stay at an all-inclusive resort for a week. However, that is way out of our price range. So, I found a great little B & B in Savannah that has a military ceremony, that would be very meaningful to us, since he's in the Reserves. However, that was too expensive also. So, it's temprarily on the back burner. I could definitely use some suggestions though...
