Hey guys I want to know how a person can know that this is the one God has chosen for me to spend the rest of my life with? That's after prayers and without using feelings to know. Please help

Hello Tina,
If your guided to a person and your questioning whether one is the right person for you, You really need to get down and ask the Lord if He is the right person for you. Many at times, if you feel the spirit of God at peace inside of you, about Him or ask the Lord for a vision or a verse that would guide you.
For my brother and His wife, they both got the exact same verse from the Bible. I mean the Lord led them to the same verse. That the Lord will do everything beautiful in His time. God bless you lots and lots, and I pray that you would be able to make the right choice. It all comes from hearing the voice of the Lord, and heeding to His voice day after day. Nothing ever will go wrong if you heed to His voice and the guidence of the Holy Spirit.

The key is always to be led of the Holy Spirit. Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Jesus didn't leave us orphans but the Holy Spirit is our guide.(Joh 14:16-18)
He will teach us all things

god in time tina will bring the right person to you just trust and religh on him.
First of all.. there is nothing in the Bible that supports explicitly that there is a 'ONE AND ONLY ONE' .. and if you didnt choose the 'ONE AND ONLY ONE' you have missed God..
Most people use the scripture from Issac (looking for his wife) as a 'type or shadow' showing us that there is a ONE AND ONLY ONE for each of us. SHEESH.
now, if your led by emotions, or even a feeling that goes beyond wisdom, then you can be very much manipulated by the other sex, where he/she may satisfy your basic needs.. or at least make you think he/she does.

you can also ask God to expose things about the person while dating them. (good or bad) These things can help you make a decision. yes.. its YOUR decision. put it in Gods hands, and He will give you the wisdom to do whats right.

The first clue that he is your husband will be that he sought you out first.
Two that you would want a man like this for your own daughter using the imagination of course if you are not a single parent.
Three you have no doubt in his ability to provide for a wife and family use wisdom sister Hugs and kisses don't pay the rent! lol
Four If he keeps his promises to you you know you got a King on your hands and he's a kEEPER!

if your asking then you probably are not ready to make a choice like this. only experience can tell you if you got the right one, if all you can remember is happy feelings with this person and you have never argued and think he is perfect, then you don't know him good enough yet. to really know a person you need to see how things go in the BAD times, because when you get marred, there will be lots of BAD/HARD times and you need to know that he is good at dealing with the pain and not just the love. If he stays by your side even when he wants to kill you(i know that doesn't make since but trust me......there will be times you get feed up with your better half) and if he still finds his calm even in the most aggravating moments. and he still holds your hand dearing those moments, then he is right. a couple that never argues doesn't really know each others true selfs yet.........just my view.

I have a phrase that has stood me in good stead over the 27 years of my Christian walk. It is this: When in doubt, DON'T!
If I have any question or any doubt, I wait.
Another way of saying this is: Follow the peace.
When you have true peace in your heart, with no questions, you can be sure that the Holy Spirit is guiding you.
Remember that relationships are never perfect. You can follow the peace into marriage, but you will most likely still have to make adjustments along the way. Marriage is simply the college of life. I pray God's blessings upon you.
If I have any question or any doubt, I wait.

Yeah but make sure you stay in constant fellowship with God's Spirit...he is the author of marriage and so to learn you must stay close to the teacher and be his friend and know many more things about his lessons.

While there is no absolute rule, the following seems generally to be true.
Attraction which is from the flesh or the devil will be sensual, compelling, heavy. It will often lead to sinful thoughts and imaginations, temptations, etc. It will be DARK and HEAVY.
Attraction that is from the Lord will be light and full of light.
It will not be compelling, but will be attractive, appealing.
It will be more pure, and less sensual.
This is in agreement with James 3:15-17:
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Ask God for his wisdom, and ask him to keep you safe.

Just to give some insight into your question. I think that if the one that you are thinking about is the one for you then the one thing that is hardest for us to do will become so easy with them. In the females case the one thing that comes to mind is were it talks about a women submitting to their spouse. . . if this is a desire that you have for your relationship that you want him to be satisfied even at the cost of yourself then chances are that he is the one. The word also says that the both of you are to submit to each other; so in the same way he should be more than willing to do the same. The last thing and the most prominent to my situation is that the LORD will speak to you, through sermons, other people, and even in your spirit. You will find that many things throughout your day will draw your attention to the possibility of this one being "the one." These things require your attention as it is very easy to misunderstand the message the LORD is trying to give you due to your flesh. Anyways, dont want to run to long, I hope that this was helpful to you. Love and Peace from God the Father.

Well Tina, I just had to ask this very question to God just this week. I met a wonderful christian man. We seemed to have everything in common, seemed like things were lining up to what I had told God that I wanted in a mate. But we both wanted to be absolutely sure that we were in the center of the PERFECT will of God for our lives. So we both prayed together and individually that God would reveal to us whether or not we should pursue a relationship. We prayed that He would be very specific, that He would answer quickly, because we had no desire to be somewhere if we did not need to be there, and certainly didn't want to be wrong. And we prayed that God would give us the same answer, and give us both peace about it.
God answered our prayers.......he told us both no, in less than 24 hours of each other. And He gave us both peace in our decision, and has caused our friendship to grow in the mean time. I have become addicted to obedience......addicted to God. It's an incredible feeling to know that you have prayed and asked God for a specivic answer, He answered you specifically and you responded with obedience immediately. And because of that, God honors you and blesses your life because of it. It's a wonderful feeling to know that you are in the center of God's will for your life. There's no greater peace in life! Men / friends / possessions all come and go........But God never leaves us or forsakes us. He says He will be the husband to the husbandless.......He is our Jehovah Jireh..our Provider. And He desires for us to be blessed and have good things in life, and good godly relationships. He has the perfect man out there, and in His perfect timing.....He will reveal that to you!
I pray that you are patient in waiting on Him, and in tune to His voice. Because just as God has a great plan for you, the enemy has a great plan for you. Be careful to use discernment, because many times in my life, Satan has brought a counterfeit across my path. Remember, he knows what we want also, he knows what pushes our buttons. Pray against the devil.......in the Name of Jesus.....take your thoughts into captivity and rebuke the enemy. Don't allow him to steal what God has planned for you!
