Religious Movie is Controversial
Roma Downey and husband, Mark Burnett, have done it again and bigger than ever!!!

Son of God comes to theaters February 28, 2014. Now, the larger-than-life story of The New Testament gets a larger-than life treatment in the stand-alone feature SON OF GOD. Told with the scope and scale of an action epic, the film features powerful performances, exotic locales, dazzling visual effects and a rich orchestral score from OIscar®-winner Hans Zimmer. Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado portrays Jesus as the film spans from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection. It marks the first motion picture about Jesus's life since Passion of the Christ, released ten years ago.

Are you going to go see it? Why or why not?

I read in an article that they are presenting this from a New Age angle. I know also their are so many controversies over this movie...
So can you then tell me what background these producers come from? Are they born again believers?

I think that was Della Reese not Pearl Bailey. Christian movies always disturb someone's doctrine when trying to make the story interesting where both the sacred & the secular crowds can enjoy the show.
