Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ
Greetings,

My name is Bishop Paul the 2nd. I am the Bishop for The Way Church North America and the Chief Steward for The Way Church Global. First to dispell any doubts. The Way Church is in no way affiliated with The Way International, in truth I was unaware that they still existed until recently when they were brought to my attention. I only mention this because it seems to come up when ever our clergy join a Christian forum. Though to be honest posting this in the intro rarely helps.

Now for a little backround on The Way Church. First and foremost TWC was founded by Jesus and can be found in the Book of Acts. The reason most people have never heard of TWC is because we used to only work via house church as was done in the days of the apostles. In recent years the Council of Bishops decided to join the "mainstream churches" to help correct the direction the church has taken. This sounds bold and maybe even a bit arrogent. The truth is while the modern church has done an ok job through the years the God preached in many church only resembles the God in the Bible. Churches around the United States have been dieing at a staggering rate with huge losses in membership and even basic attendance.

Through accurate and strict bible teaching and preaching it is our most deepest prayer that other churches too will return to the Word of God and leave their traditions and fears behind them. Our hope is that Christians and non-Christians alike will see the truth of The Word of God and the truth of His church and will come and live out the God's plan for His people.

It is likely that one or more of you will take an opposing view to anything I post on here, Believe me when I say I am fine with that. Each of you is entitled to his or her opinion. One thing you will not receive from me is rude and unGodly behavior. If at any point any feel I am "taking a tone" or " being rude" I will tell you point blank that any inflection you read in my words is added by you, the reader. You may not like all I say and I am sure there will be times I feel the same. However I can not read you mind nor can you read mine so any judgment made based on the text which carries no volume nor visual indicators of emotion would be a pre judgment and nothing more.

I say all this because over and over in forums that claim to follow Christ I see those that call themselves Christians attacking each other based on pre-conceived emotions. It is a waste of time and side track us from what we are here to do which is to interact as a fellowship of believers and to learn from each other and enjoy speaking of our Lord and Savior.

I look forward the sharing with each of you as we interact and to have my iron sharpened by yours as the bible commands us to do.

In Christ,

Bishop Paul 2

Hi, Bishop! I am happy to see you participating here on Praize. I enjoyed our chat the other night and hope to have more opportunities. In the meantime, I will "read you" as time allows.

I want to comment on Praize forums. Praize Debates are the only area of Praize forums where people are allowed to take issue with one another's posts. All other areas are simple for people to put their opinions. I see, however, that you have already found the Debates area. Most of the folks there have been on Praize and Debating one another for a very long time. They know the rules http://www.praize.com/Forums/TOS and usually obey them - except for regularly going off topic. They have truly built a fondness for one another through this vehicle and some deep friendships have developed. I'm sure they will welcome new input.

If I can be of service to you, please feel free to email me. You may or may not know that my husband and I are new owners of Praize (2.5 mos. now!) and that we are working on an overall upgrade that will make the site more enjoyable for everyone. We would covet your prayers for smooth sailing as we go through this time of learning and newness. Again, thank you for being here.

Blessings Bishop!

I am not one to debate...I don't study so that I can either. But I can remember the passion that was burning in my heart a few years ago...and that was to see the church arise as in the book of acts 2...I became so beaten down by everything we have to go through to get to Jesus that I have gone through my own spiritual death. The Jesus I met when I was first saved is the one I seek...so back to my first love to find Him. Since this discussion is on debating religion my response may be off topic...but I will be looking forward to reading what you have to say. Maybe a spark can be lit in our comfortable status quo mindsets that will reveal Jesus in word and in power!God Bless!
