Learning the Art of Discipline

Learning the Art of Discipline
This should be called "Learning the Art of Discipline." I took a Distance Learning course & although I had 4 months to complete the course, I ended up completing the last 2 papers within a week and a half. I think I finished the course with a B+ but imagine how much better I could have done if I took more time.

P.S. It was Theological Studies II for my undergrad.

Distance Learning is only effective if you actually have the time to do it. I wouldn't suggest anyone do it if they are working full-time & in the ministry. Reading books on your own time is more effective in this case.

When you can allot 1 or 2 years of your life for studying & possibly working part-time then Distance Learning would be better for you.

Greeetings I am new also,

I am in the process of begining an "on line education" from the Sure foundation , they have different degrees and alot of other materials as well. Their address is http://www.virtualbibleschool.com/

I want to do some of the courses at "The way of the Master school" as well Thier address is http://www.livingwaters.com/academy/index.htm

I also want a degree from the International Institute of Faith based Counseling, their courses are very interesting. Their address is http://www.iifbc.com/

I think the mix of these three distance learning establishments will gve me what I am looking for which is formal education and knowledge to support the Spirit that has moved me to persue this "calling". While the Bible is my ultimate text book I know that the religious world today for the most part wants formal education as well.
