did it read anywhere in the Old Testament that some people had "gifts" like the ability to see the future, read minds and thoughts ? thouart@praize.com

a couple of prophets had that gift in the old testament, it doesn't really talk about the gift it talks of them knowing thru God more than others... interpreting dreams and stuff like that as well...

Although this post is quite old and should probably be in another forum, since this one is about distance learning, I'll go and submit a reply.



The prophets in the Old Testament had the God-given ability to prophesy future events, such as the birth of Christ or end times events, and several had the ability to interpret dreams. No where do I see, however, that anyone other than God had the ability to read minds.
