Hi everybody, the other day I was talking with some people about Schnoebelen and his books (Lucifer dethroned, Masonry beyond the light . . .)and these people told me that he is a fraud and a liar, I believe in him and I really ejoy his books, but I would like to know what you think about Bill and about what he teaches in his books.

Myself, I suspect he could use a 'tuneup' (some nuts and bolts and screws tightened) and maybe an elevator repair. (It might not go all the way to the top floor, LOL)



He does appear to have joined the ranks of the 'conspiracy theorists', but heh, just because he's 'paranoid' doesn't mean no one's out to get him, right? (LOL)



I'd never heard of him before, but his 'bio' does raise some red flags with me as well. The above website apparently traced his timelines with his claimed bios, and they overlap quite a bit.



Anyway, have fun 'discerning' the real and the true from the crass and the false.

I am not familiar with Schnoebelen's books on Freemasonry but I have read "Wicca: Satan's Little White Lie" so I can't offer an opinion on his freemasonry stuff - only on what he has written about Wicca and Neo-Paganism...



I was the High Priest of a Pagan Coven here in Western Australia before coming to Christ and I can assure you from my own personal experience and knowledge of the occult and the Wiccan and Neo-Pagan Community IMHO that much of what Schnoebelen writes is sensationalized at best...



There is a germ of truth in much that he says but that is it... a germ....



Unfortuneately I believe he has fallen into the trap of elaborating his testimony to make it 'badder' and more 'shocking' than it was in order to 'please' those that paid his bills - namely Jack Chick... and now that Jack Chick has passed away and he has found himself in charge of Chick Publications poor Bill Schnoebelen is trapped by his own exaggerated testimony...



He can't recant or he will be branded a liar and fool so he has to keep spinning the same tired old wives tales in order to keep the book sales up...



Like I said there is a germ of truth in much that he says but it should be taken with more than just a pinch of salt... a bucket of salt is more likely...



Unfortuneately he is not the only one who has played to his audience by telling whoppers in order to make a buck or gain acceptance and then found he had painted himself into a corner and couldn't recant without losing face - and money - as a result...
