The following request comes from a long-time friend from high school, whose son is now in jail, and needs prayer for his addiction to alcohol and drugs. Please put him on your personal prayer list and ask your church to add him to their prayer list. I believe we serve a mighty God and He hears and answers prayers. This young man needs a prayer chain started for him, and he needs help desperately.



Please put my son, Tate, on your prayer list and your church’s prayer chain/list. He needs to choose to be delivered from drugs/alcohol. My prayer warrior friend, Olive, told me to put him on as many prayer lists as possible and get as many prayer warriors to pray, as well. This is how she prayed for her daughter to be delivered from drugs and she has!

Pray his Word out loud! Stand on the Word! Never give up! This is a battle for his life! Please feel free to pass it on!

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Father, I come to you on behalf of Tate. Lord, You are the only one that can help him. He can go to doctors and treatment centers, but YOU have the answer to all his needs. So I lift him up to You now, Lord, and ask that You touch him in a mighty way, just because we are asking. Pull him out of the drugs and alcohol that have had control over him and send them back to the pit where they came from. Father, he is just using those things to cover up the pain and hurt that he is feeling inside. You know his pain, Lord. Please send angels to surround him and just the right people tolead him into Your presence.

Father, I feel in my spirit that this prayer has already been answered so I thank You for that. Thank You for being such a wonderful Father to us all and for always hearing and answering my prayers.
