I was recently asked by a Praize member to pray about her on-line relationship. She had met the man on line and he was soon to make a business trip to her city. She asked me to pray and hear from the Lord for her. I told her that I didn't think I could hear from the Lord over my strong opinion about on-line relationships. Good or bad... what do you think and why?

Basically I think it's risky. He lives in another town so it will be hard for her to verify anything he has told her. If she is going to date him when he gets there she needs to keep it very public. Pray that God will give her wisdom in this matter and that He will protect her. On-line relationships have succeeded but generally it's not the best way to go about it. If the website is Christian there is less risk.
