Wow! It's nice to hear that there is another team voluntarily created by the church which made up of 95 professionally trained volunteers for tragic situations and will willingly lend their help to others especially at times it needed most.

Most of the world doesn't recognize how much goodness God shows through His children who have built hospitals, orphanages, disaster relief teams, food pantries, etc, etc. That's how we let our Light (by being part of His body) shine before men so that they will see our good works and glorify our Heavenly Father.
Rapid Response Teams are instant in season and out to share the hope that lies within them. Faith Life Church in Branson, Missouri (Brother Keith Moore) quickly responds to large and small disasters too - just like all believers should. They encourage everyone to start a 'God Account' above the tithe that will accumulate making funds available when major needs arise.
Always great to hear about our brothers and sisters being doers of the Word not just hearers only.

Our desire to reach and help others is what pushes us through to continue building different groups to response on disaster that may occur anytime and the Rapid Response Team in Grapevine Texas is one of them, through the initiative of Pastor Ed Young, it is of big help and ease to other groups as well since there's a new group to help them. Continue the great work Pastor together with your church.

Unity in times of disaster is vital and I believe that the church should do its part in helping those who are badly affected by these inevitable disasters. I admire Pastor Ed Young's initiative of forming a team of professionally trained volunteers, and this would definitely save many lives. People of Grapevine Texas will now have more people to rely on in times of disaster, which I believe is the most important thing.

This is a best example of sending God's message of helping those who are in need through actions. God Bless this rapid response team. I'm willing to become a volunteer. Smile

I always believe that God's grace and goodness should start from the church, and this is a classic example of what I believed in. Grapevine Texas residents will now have more options as to whom they should call to in times of disasters and calamities, not just relying on the local government and NGOs to save lives. This serves as an example to all churches around the world, there are ways for church to help victims of calamities other than just distributing relief goods.

God Bless this Rapid Response Team and the people behind this excellent endeavor to help others

What's great about this Rapid Response Team created by Pastor Ed Young is that it does not work as a standalone group, but working hand-in-hand with Red Cross, thus making its 95 volunteers well-prepared and equipped with the right knowledge and training in responding to disasters. I'm sure more and more volunteers will join this team in the future.

I totally agree with what Pastor Ed Young said to the link I've just read, it states " “We have a desire to help our community any way we can. etc..", I'm so happy with the team he created to help others. Good job!

Well yes we should be very thankful to Ed Young for having this, but of course we have to train ourselves too on what to do so that if time comes we got rescued it would be easier for them.
