WE must begin with prayer for these churches because five of the larger churches in the US are Pastored by Nigerians. Revival hit Nigeria several years back and men began to walk forward to serve God in deeper ways. One notable brother is the Pastor of one of the larger Charismatic groups in Russia,I believe in the St Petersburg area. He doesn't like western influence in his church either because they are more negative than real faith in Jesus.
They (the Nigerians ) believe continuously for God's best and it usually happens.
Pray for these people they believe in Jesus and actually crave being in his presence. The attacks they are feeling right now is an open demonic attack because the devil doesn't want to lose out there.

Thanks for the great history and insight regarding the persecution of Nigerian believers.
Lord, we thank you that in this world we will have tribulation, but we can be of good cheer because you have over come the world. Thank you for sending angels to surround them and open your children's eyes to see like Elisha's servant saw the heavenly host arrayed in battle. Give them more abundant faith to having done all to stand, to continue to stand. Let them be quick to listen to your still small voice guiding them to a way of escape. Send the Holy Spirit to give them His fruit to sustain them and share with those who persecute them that they might heap coals of convicting fire on their heads - fire like Elijah called down - causing revival fires to break out among the Muslims and converting them to faith in you - the One True God, the creator of Heaven and Earth.
Let you glory fill Nigeria! In Jesus name - Amen
