Building Walls Or Stumbling Blocks?

Posted in Arts & Humanities on Sun, Jan 31 2010 - 04:01 PM

I wasn't quite sure why the Lord had me reading in Nehemiah today at 4:00 A.M. about how Nehemiah went about rebuilding the walls and how he faced great opposition.  Nehemiah knew in his heart that he was doing the will of God but he had naysayer's saying you can't do this you are not equipped and on and on. So he could have given into the jeers...

The Life and Times of Changes

Posted in Arts & Humanities on Wed, Jan 27 2010 - 06:39 PM

It is cold and blustery this day, and the wind howls throughout the vast countryside I sit here hearing the sound of it seep through the cracks of my windows and with it the blowing of snow.  As I peered out my window I could sit and watch the activity of the occasional bird in flight and I caught sight of a beautiful cardinal amongst ...

The world puts stock in their possessions but we walk after the treasures and rewards of the Father and His Kingdom. The world places their eyes on the traditions of man but we place our eyes on the...

Surely this must be the house of God. I will do a thing that will make ears tingle and hearts turn and great will be the quaking and the trembling for in My presence there is a fear an an awe. Prophets of old fell on their faces and shook exeedingly for the reverential awe that came upon their hearts. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord...

Posted in Arts & Humanities on Thu, Jan 14 2010 - 06:40 AM

I'm not happy living here, but knowing that someday all earthly fears and tears will not be a part of my glorious state, for He said He would wipe away all tears, and there is no fear where a perfect kingdom reigns. I'm just sojourning in this world, and pondering things of His heart, and know one day, I shall throw off this earthly shell, and...

Imprinted Forever

Posted in Arts & Humanities on Tue, Jan 12 2010 - 12:26 AM

The Lord was giving me a word today not His usual way instead of a phrase He spoke one word to me.... Imprint. I looked it up in my Rogets 21st century Thesaurus and it said the verb for this word was to style, compose, write words. Hmmmm. imagine that. God loves to surprise us but He also gives us His Word and we are to have His Word at our...
